The Dirty Dozen - The Best Of 2022... Part 19 (May 2022 Wk 19) Spotify Playlist

SoulStrutter selections of the best releases this week
(May 2022 Wk 19)
In no particular order other than tempo.

As alluded to in "The Neo Dirty Dozen" post, there were not many, what I would consider, 'great' releases this week. Finding tunes early this week was somewhat hindered by Ace/Kent back catalogue dominating almost half of the 400 pages of Amazon new releases.

Whilst there are some nice tracks on the new Tank & The Bangas new album "Red Balloon", it was a little disappointing from a purely soul perspective and it was the only album of any significance released this week.

Choosing this week's SoulStrutter Selection of the Week was a no brainer so without further ado it's Tamara Dos Santos "Would You Wait?" which seems to have got overlooked, even by me, from last week's releases as I had it short-listed on Friday but not posted until Wednesday.

However, there were a few others under consideration: Lena Byrd-Miles and Jemelia Richardson from this playlist and Sidibe and Jazzlyn Soul from the Neo playlist along with "Jellyfish" from Tank & The Bangas album.
