Jones [2023] - Magic In My Head [Self Released] (Full EP)

UK artist Cherie Jones-Mattis released her seventh EP "Magic In My Head" today (5 May '23). The five tracks contain her last two singles "Razor Blades" (Feb) and "Hard To Be Happy" (Mar). I think our pick from the new songs is "Dimensions".

She first appeared in April 2015 with an EP "Indulge" and in addition to her seven EPs released a full album "New Skin" in Oct in 2016.

Yael Santé [2023] - The Room [AMI Records]

Yael Santé is a new name to these pages, She was born and raised in Devner, CO, but is now located in Atlanta, GA, and debuted with a five track EP "The Romance" in 2019.

Her seventh single since then is "The Room" released today which is another that is unexpectedly good that we nearly bypassed owing to the foreign name. There are just so many listed with foreign looking names and generally 99.9% of the time they are a complete waste of time so we tend to steer of them clear but this one for some reason intrigued us.

We quickly skimmed through all her singles and they are all pretty good, so certainly a name to watch out for. Don't take our word for it, below is a video of a couple of singles "Miles In Between", "Don't Take Me Home" and, as far as we can tell, an unreleased song "Be Good To Me".
