Spring The Artist [2023] - Nolina / Eden [Self Released]

If you thought that King Sis was being prolific committing to release new music every two weeks since March, then she's met her match with Spring The Artist. 

We posted "Move" last week (22 Jun) (as well as a few others beforehand) and since then she's released another two singles "Eden" (24 Jun) and "Nolina" (28 Jun) which means she has released ten singes this year so far.

If you have seen any of her other posts you will know that she is Alexandria Birts from Austin, TX, who debuted only last year in May '22

Allen Anjeh [2023] - Once In A Million [Elevate CPH/Universal Music]

Born in Kumba, Cameroon but living in Copenhagen from the age of 12, Allen Anjeh released her debut single "Rising Son" in April this year. 

Her second single "Once In A Million" came out last week which is from a forthcoming  EP "Ó mmɛ ne" ("This Is Me") which she says will be 'a love project dedicated to the African continent'.

Lina Nikol Feat. Boyan & Ashton Sellars [2023] - Set You Free (Moods Remix) [Stereofox]

Lina Nikol (Veselina Nikolova / Nikolakopoulou from Sofia, Bulgaria) released "Set You Free" as a single in Feb which then appeared on her four track EP "A Mood Called 'YOU'" in April.

It has now been remixed by Rotterdam-based producer Moods (aka Nick Lubbersen). It's the third Moods remix we've seen/heard in the last month or so.

The single features fellow Bulgarian Boyan (Angelov) and London based New Zealander, guitarist/producer, Ashton Sellars.

Nikol recorded a duet "All I Need" with Frank McComb in 2018.

SANITY feat. Blue Lab Beats & MELONYX [2023] - Late Night [Self Released]

The MC/rap of Birmingham's SANITY is sweetened by the harmonies of Nottingham duo Melonyx on her latest single "Late Night" which is produced by Blue Lab Beats who appear courtesy of Blue Note Records.

SANITY is Sherelle Robbins formerly known as Lady Sanity. Apparently, she took her name  from a Dizzee Rascal lyric. She performed her song/rap "Go the Distance" at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 2018 when the games were handed over to Birmingham.

We featured the last single "Who Is She" by singer/composer Raina Sokolov-Gonzalez, from Brooklyn. NYC, last month. She follows it with another classy jazz infused single "Like I See You" released yesterday (30 Jun).

Raina is from a musical family as her mother is jazz vocalist Lisa Sokolov and her brother Jake Sokolov-Gonzalez is also a singer
