Ranay Shakara [2021] - The Love EP [Self Released] (Full EP)

Ranay Shakara is a new artist from Milwaukee, WI.  who has a BA in music and a masters in music education. In June she released her debut single "Butterfly" which is also included on her debut five track EP "The Love EP" released today (27 Aug 2021).

She is professionally trained in jazz, classical and gospel which can be heard in particular on the stunning track "Who Do You Love" as her voice is flawless.

The most commercial track is the opening one "I Been" but this is a very good EP as her voices is as pure as silk.

Ruby Francis & Blue Lab Beats [2021] - Let Me In [Self Released]

Only a month ago London's Ruby Francis released a single titled "Jasmine" which I didn't post as it was a bit too on the R&B 'dark' side! Her latest effort "Let Me In", featuring those Blue Lab Beats fellas, released today (27 Aug 2021) is, for me, much better.

Sola Rosa [2021] - Chasing The Sun (Deluxe Edition) [Self Released] (Full Album)

By sheer coincidence the next artist is also a New Zealander. Sola Rosa was founded by Andrew Spraggon back in 1999. Last year they released an album titled "Chasing The Sun".  I guess like many artists, the promotion of the album has suffered due to the pandemic and the inability to perform it live. So, they have reissued it as a Deluxe Edition with another ten tracks, on top of the existing twelve, which are mainly remixes of existing tracks or live versions.

A 22 track album for £7.99 released today (27 Aug 2021). The outstanding track, for me, is "No Idea", but there are plenty of others to choose, from 100 minutes of music!

Arjuna Oakes is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Wellington, New Zealand. who debuted in 2019.

His latest EP "First Night" was released today (27 Aug 2021). The track with most 'soul appeal' is "Reset" which features singer/songwriter, producer Serebii (aka Callum Hoppins) also from New Zealand.

Listening again "Even When You're Gone" is a grower, so I may as well post the full EP as there may be tracks that appeal to others,
