What appears to be a sophomore release from J.Renee (who we can find nothing about) is "Best 4 Me" which follows a three track EP "Phases Of A Loving Heart" in Dec '22.

There are several artists with similar names i,e J Renee, J. Renee, J.Reneé, Jrenee'  etc. so who knows?

Conya Doss feat. B. Golden [2023] - 4everlasting [Self Released]

It's been a while since we heard new material from Conya Doss (since "Through Rose-Colored Glasses" in Jun '21 to be exact) but her new single "4everalsting" has been worth waiting for. It features Cleveland's (Bryan) B. Golden who she co-wrote the song with.

Conya Doss is also from Cleveland, OH, and began in a duo called Lyrik with Stacy Richardson-Crawford who has sang backing vocals for artists such as Ali-Ollie Woodson, Phil Perry, Gerald Levert and Anthony Hamilton. 

After the duo split, Conya went solo, and independent, releasing all her material on her own label Conya Doss Songs. Her first album being "A Poem About Ms. Doss" in 2002. The last album was her ninth. Perhaps a tenth is in the pipeline?

Joel Culpepper is a cockney, raised in Peckham and Catford, London, who debuted in 2009 with a mixtape 'The Adventures Of Pensmith'. He last appeared here as a featured artist on the title track of Reuben James' "Champagne Kisses" album

He has a new single, "Free", which is currently topping the Amazon UK Hot New Releases which features  Tom Misch on guitar and bass.

Carrington [2023] - CruzCtrl [Carri Music] (Full EP)

You may recall Carrington for her single "Botica" from the end of May. We took the opportunity of also posting an earlier single "Groove". They are both included on a six track EP "CruzCtrl".  Our other choice cut from the set is "Gentleman".

Carrington Peterson is from Las Vegas whose musical journey began when she was 8. Her first recording was a self released, four track, EP "Mood Swings" in Jun 2019. Since then she has released just three singles until her second EP.

Miranda Joan feat. CARRTOONS [2023] - Bada Bing! [Self Released]

Miranda Joan DiPerno was born in Montreal but grew up in Vancouver, and is now based in Brooklyn, NYC. She debuted with a self-released five track EP "Still" in 2017 and has since released more than a dozen singles along with the release of her debut album "Windborne" (Dec '21).

Since the release of her album she's released her seventh single "Bada Bing!" (named after the fictitious strip club HQ in The Sopranos TV series) which features Ben Car (CARRTTONS). The song explores the flirtatious Bada Bing! fireworks moment when you meet someone new. Miranda tells us:

"Italian culture in large part revolves around food, and in my house that love lives in the pasta sauce. To this day there are few things more comforting than a bowl of pasta, and so “red sauce kind of loving” is the only kind of love I’m looking for. A love that is imbued with the foundational principles of cooking a great sauce: low and slow."

The song is from her forthcoming sophomore album, "Overstimulated", due on 10 Nov
