Gabriels [2022] - Angels & Queens [Atlas Artists] (Official Music Video)

A month after releasing it as the lead single, Gabriels have released a video for the title track from their debut album "Angels & Queens" (30 Sep). 

The trio was formed in L.A. in 2016 consisting of lead singer Jacob Lusk (who appeared on American Idol season 10 in 2011) and producers Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope. Their debut single 'Loyalty' in 2018 was used in a Prada advert.

They have five UK dates lined up for later this month:

Paris Jordan [2022] - Strivin' [Pattypoohproductions]

Received on promo on Saturday is what appears to be a debut single titled "Strivin" by Paris Jordan but no information was provided. It was actually released on 30 Sep 2022 and seems to be the artist's only release. A bit of digging revealed that she is a nurse from Philadelphia and claims to be Patti LaBelle's #1 fan, hence, presumably, the Pattypooproductions named label?

The song has more than a nod to Keni Burke's "Risin' To To Top" methinks? Spotify only credits Jordan for writing but there is a video for it on YouTube which credits  Paris Jordan, Justin Miller, Hale' B and Ashley Parrott.

Jalen Ngonda [2022] - What A Difference She Made [Daptone Records]

Jalen Ngonda made a bit of a splash with his last digital single "Just Like You Used To" (7 Sep) which is available to pre-order on vinyl (due 14 Oct) along with the B side "What A Difference She Made" which is also available digitally today for the first time.

Ngonda is native of Wheaton, Maryland, now based in London via Liverpool where he relocated to in 2014 to study music at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts.  He was credited as Top Emerging Solo Artist at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2018. He has released round seven singles and an EP since 2016 and is a new signing to Daptone.

Lily Massie Feat. Marzz & Amari Noelle [2022] - Lose (Remix) [Moon Garden Records]

The second remix of the day. This time from Lily Massie with "Lose" which was released in May. This time out it features Marzz & Amari Noelle.

The key and tempo are the same and it sounds pretty similar but is about 30 seconds longer and presumably her two female featured artists contribute to the vocals but any change is subtle.

Ravyn Lenae Feat. Steve Lacy [2022] - Skin Tight (Alternate) [Atlantic]

Ravyn Lenae has released an alternate take on "Skin Tight" featuring Steve Lacey. The original version was released as a single on 1 Feb 2022 and then appeared on the album  "HYNPNOS" in Mat 2022.

Strangely, when originally posted, I commented that she sounded a bit like Minnie Riperton on this song and  B. Valentine has just released a cover of "Lovin' You" at the weekend.

Ravyn Lenae Washington is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from Chicago who debuted with an independent EP "Moon Shoes" in 2015 (aged just 16) which was reissued by Atlantic Records the following year when she was signed to the label.
