Paris Jordan [2023] - Simple Things [Pattypoohproductions]

Philly's Paris Jordan released her third single to date yesterday titled "Simplest Things". It follows "Feelin' Fine" from last Nov preceded by "Strivin'" at the end of Sep. '22. I'm sorry to say that I don't think the new single matches up to either of the earlier singles, but that's only my opinion and you may think differently.

Paris Jordan [2022] - Feelin Fine [Pattypoohproductions]

Philadelphia's Paris Jordan introduced herself to us last month with what appears to be her debut single "Strivin" which had more than a resemblance to Keni Burke's classic "Risin' To The Top". She's back again today (18 Nov '22) with her follow up single "Feelin Fine" which is a groooove!

It has an old school feel, I don't recognise any samples used this time out, perhaps you do? I think this could do really well in the UK.

After a bit of digging around last time I discovered that she is (or was) a nurse from Philly and claimed to be Patti LaBelle's #1 fan which is where it would appear her label name 'Pattypooproductions' is derived from?

Paris Jordan [2022] - Strivin' [Pattypoohproductions]

Received on promo on Saturday is what appears to be a debut single titled "Strivin" by Paris Jordan but no information was provided. It was actually released on 30 Sep 2022 and seems to be the artist's only release. A bit of digging revealed that she is a nurse from Philadelphia and claims to be Patti LaBelle's #1 fan, hence, presumably, the Pattypooproductions named label?

The song has more than a nod to Keni Burke's "Risin' To To Top" methinks? Spotify only credits Jordan for writing but there is a video for it on YouTube which credits  Paris Jordan, Justin Miller, Hale' B and Ashley Parrott.
