Tre' Rochelle [2024] - Wasting Time [Elle Roch Records]

After a pretty poor week last week, the good new material is in abundance this weekend. We've already posted over thirty and still have well over thirty others to work through. Sadly, with so many good releases, many will inevitably fall by the wayside but we try to do our little bit to give them some exposure.

A new name to us is San Antonio, TX, artist Tre' Rochelle (Tremika Rochelle Massey) who has been releasing her music since Feb 2020.

Her current singe, "Wasting Time" is her seventh since then along with a five track EP, "Violet: Slow Motion", in Apr 2020. It comes with full length, Radio Edit and Instrumental versions.

J.A.E [2024] - Let Me Know [Self Released]

South London singer songwriter J.A.E (Jennifer Princess Obiageli Tabansi) began her musical journey as a poet, under the alias, Jae Poet whist completing her degree in 2013 whilst also attending the prestigious performing art schools Italia Conti and Blackheath Conservatoire on weekends.

She debuted in 2018 with "Love Me Right" which has subsequently received a multitude of remixes in 2022-23 after two further singles and an album ("With Or Without") in 2019.

Her new single "Let Me Know" was released on Friday (22 Mar). The music video for it premieres at 17:00 GMT Sun 24 Mar.

IMARI [2024] - Breathe Again [PhillieBOP Productions]

A debut single "Breathe Again" from IMARI who we have discovered is Jashonda 'Imari' Dutch from Hampton, VA.

She wrote the song with PhillieBOP Productions's Bennie Pearce who also plays guitar and keyboards on the track.

Imari received a full scholarship at the illustrious Elizabeth City State University and was a member of the University Choir where she was classically trained as a Music Performance major.

Singer, actor, model Serayah McNeill from Encinitas, CA, is known for her role as fledgling singing artist Tiana Brown on the 2015 Empire TV series. 

She released her first music in 2017 with the single "Driving" which evolved into an EP "Addicted" in 2018.

Her latest release is a four track EP, "Archives", which is pretty much R&B oriented from which we'd pick "Sleep Good" as our choice cut which is a bit more neo soul oriented.
