Claudia Campagnol [2022] - Love You All The Way [Giant Sheep Music]

Claudia Campagnol was born in Budapest, Hungary, raised in Malmo, Sweden and now lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. She featured on the blog in March 2021 with a dance edit of an album track "Do You Love Me", and her last single "Confused" came out on 12 May 2022 which was a mid-tempo soul jazz number. Prior to that she also released "Everything's OK" in 2021 and "Dance With Me" in 2020 along with a few more tracks from her debut album as well as couple of non-album tracks

Her new single "Love You All The Way" is due out tomorrow 2 Sep 2022 which is in a similar vein. It's the third single from a forthcoming sophomore album due in Nov 2022 which follows her first "I'm Strong" from Apr 2019 for which she was nominated for the Danish Music Awards Jazz 2019 in two categories "Best Vocal Album" and "Best New Act".

Spotify Embedding Issue - RESOLVED?

Despite telling me they would, Spotify hasn't contacted me yet to inform me that the embedding issue was now fixed, but it appears now to have been. 

So spending almost 6 hours of my time dealing with them wasn't completely wasted! They originally told me it could be weeks and then I told them that traffic on this site had been reduced by 75% owing to the issue and that time scale wasn't acceptable. They initially would not accept that it was their software change that was causing the problem, which it clearly was as there was no issue before that.

However, fair play to them as it seem to be fixed now within 24 hours.

Lori Nebo [2022] - Chillin n Summertime [Self Released] (Full Album)

One for the more traditionalist is an album released on 30 Aug 2022 by Lori Nebo titled "Chillin n Summertime".

Lori Nebo was born and bred in Southern California  and raised on gospel music. She now lives in New York. This was in fact her first album released in Jun 2013 along with another album "I Am Voice" the same day.  However, some DSPs have them listed as compilations and some of the songs do sound like 80s recordings, so the material could be older than 2013.

The standout track for me is "In The Morningtime" which for some reason reminds me a tad of Meli'sa Morgan as it has a bit of an 80s feel.

Ali B [2022] - Memories [Self Released]

Out today is a single "Memories" by Ali B which is not yet available on either Spotify or YouTube but a YouTube video is due to premier at (01:00 (BST)). It sounds good enough to post from the sample.

It's one of those contemporary tunes but with a bit of a retro feel.

Ali B is Alicia Bellavance from Quebec and this appears be only her second single following "Once Upon A Day Ago" from Oct 2021.

Maverick Neal [2022] - Pick Up The Phone [Grooveshack Music Group]

On the face of it this looks like a debut release by Maverick Neal, although there is an artist with the same name who released a single "It's Too Late" in 1990 as Maverick (Neal), so whether they are the same artist I can't be sure, but the voice sounds seasoned enough to be.

He has released "Pick Up The Phone" today (1 Sep 2022) and it is certainly one of the better tracks I've heard so far this week.
