Sarah-Jane [2022] - fragile [Self Released] (Full Album)

Sarah-Jane Wijdenbosch is from Amsterdam and emerged in 2017 with her debut album "Black Magic". She started out as a backing singer and has appeared on Dutch TV and at the North Sea Jazz Festival several times. In 2018 she was a contestant on The Voice of Holland (season 9) progressing to the live audition.

After a five year hiatus releasing music she is back in 2022 with four singles and her sophomore studio album "fragile" which includes all four singles and two interludes leaving three new songs, "fragile" "clean up" and "toxic".

MOONGA K. [2022] - feels like [Wild Everest Records]

Zambian-born, Botswana-raised, and South African-based (Johannesburg) singer / songwriter Moonga K. (Kapambwe) last featured with a couple of tracks "my mind" (10 Jun) and "up" (18 May) from a then forthcoming EP "IV" which was due in Jul 2022. 

He has subsequently released another single since called "fluid" at the end of August which hasn't been posted. His latest single  "feel likes" released today is much better. 

He's now released almost thirty singles/EPs and two albums since starting in 2017.

The Dip [2022] - When You Lose Someone [Dualtone Music Group]

The new single from The Dip is an acoustic version of "When You Lose Someone" which is bundled with the original version featured on their album "Sticking With It" in March after being released as a single in Jan. It seems that they are releasing a series of acoustic version of album tracks as another two are scheduled for release on 18 Oct.

The Dip is a seven-piece blue-eyed soul ensemble from Seattle, WA, who debuted in 2015 with a self-titled album which saw a vinyl release on Colemine in 2020 as did their sophomore album "The Dip Delivers".  They released their third album "Sticking With It" on 4 Mar 2022.

The California Honeydrops [2022] - Soft Spot [Tubtone Records] (Full Album)

At the start of Sep The California Honeydrops released a great double-sider  "Nothing At All" / "Good Times" which were the third and fourth tracks from their then forthcoming album "Soft Spot" which is released in full today (7 Oct 2021). The other previously released tracks were  "Takin' My Time" and "I Miss You Baby Pt. 1" with "In Your Arms" and "Tumblin'" being released as singles in the last couple of weeks.

They were formed in Oakland CA, busking in subways and consist of five core members led by vocalist / multi-instrumentalist Lech Wierzynski (he's originally from Poland if you hadn't guessed) plus two to three more world-class musicians for each show.

To date they have recorded seven studio albums, three live albums, and two cover albums since 2008.

Their style crosses boundaries from roots, R&B, southern soul, Delta blues and New Orleans second line but their latest single is retro sweet soul in tune with Durand Jones & The Indications and others with that blue-eyed retro sweet soul groove such as The Sinseers, Thee Sacred Souls, Stan Taylor and many others emerging from California in particular.
