Saïna [2022] - LIGHT & DARK [Circa80's] (Full Album)

BRIT School graduate Saïna (Penrake) (pronounced Sa-ee-na) from North West London released her third single ("What a time to live in") in just over a year on 27 May 2022.  

She debuted in Mar 2021 with "Wrong Love" (video included below) and her second "Alive" came in  Feb 2022.

Today she released her debut album "LIGHT & DARK" which was presented at a launch party at Folklore, Hackney Road, London last night.

I think of the songs not already released as singles "Thank You" is the 'most likely". I also think, inevitably, parallels may be drawn with Amy Winehouse as her sound has that same jazzy vibe.

Anto Neosoul (Antony Mwangi Ndung'u) is a 34 year old singer/actor/media personality from Nairobi (Kenya) and released his first album "Starborn" in 2016.

Last week a couple of tracks pre-released as singles were posted i.e. "Are You Ready?" and "Deliver Me". Today (17 Jun 2022) the full album "Welcome 2 My World" is released.

Elle Monae [2022] - DEDICATION [Self Released] (Full Album)

Elle Monae (aka Lisa Monae Dunston) from Baltimore, MA, and has released her first new material for just over a year in the form of a her second album "DEDICATION". 

Her first album "After Hours" appeared in April 2020 which was preceded by a five track EP "Seventy Five Degree Sound" in March 2017 which appears to be her debit release.

Shaun Escoffery [2022] - Set Me Free [Dome #601D] OUT TODAY!

Shaun Escoffery is a British singer/actor who debuted with a single "Got To Find Me A Love" in 1996 (which sounds to me like it may have elements of Gap Band's "Outstanding" within it and is well worth reactivation!). 

His first hit was with "Space Rider" in 2001 which reached #52 on UK pop chart followed in 2002 with "Days Like This" which got to #53 (videos for both included below). To date he's released six albums, the latest being "Strong Enough" in 2020, his third album for Dome.

On 8 Jun a promo was posted for his new single "Set Me Free" which is officially released today (17 Jun 2022) by Dome. 

Apart from featuring on a few remixes, this will be his first single since "Forgotten Man" in 2020 from "Strong Enough". It think it may also feature on the second volume of Dome's 30 Years compilation due for release  later this month.

He's appeared in several West End theatre productions including as Mufasa in The Lion King, Les Misérables, Smokey Joe's Café, Tommy and Mama I Want to Sing. In 2007 he received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for his work in the stage musical Parade.
