Dave Lee [2022] - Produced With Love II [Z Records] (Full Album)

Continuing a series he started back in 2017 with "Produced With Love", Dave Lee releases the second volume today (17 Jun 2022).  Available digitally of on 3 x 12" vinyl, it consists of a collection of 21 new songs on digital, reduced to 12 on vinyl. (NB the version on Spotify includes the 12 vinyl tracks only).

The lead single "Starlight" featuring Omar was released as a single in April followed by "Do It Again" by Raw Essence and Dave Lee featuring Lifford on 20 May.

There's a nice version of Glady's Knight's "If You Ever Need Somebody" (written by Johnny Bristol and David Williams from her 1979 self-titled album) with Tiffany T'zelle taking the lead vocals. 

Another highlight is a tune he played in Dec 2020 in his first Record Room Session which was unreleased at the time by Jayenne featuring Gina Carey "Love Walked In The Room". Also, "Taste My Love" featuring Billy Valentine of The Valentine Brothers who recorded the original 1982 version of Simply Red's debut #13 UK pop chart hit "Money's Too Tight (To Mention)" in 1985. A little birdie told be that it was upon the suggestion of Starpoint Radio DJ, Bash, that Mick Hucknall's group recorded it! My 'claim to fame' is that I bumped into Mick Hucknall at the counter of the HMV record store in Manchester before they were famous around the time they released it!
