As alluded to the other day when her latest single "End Games" was released on Tuesday, Morgan Munroe's debut album "Elvira" hits the streets today (17 Jun 2022).
She has posted up a short promo video for the album (which I missed on
Tuesday when posting the single, perhaps it was uploaded after I'd
posted it?( which features extracts of the first four tracks "Don't Roll With Me", "Havana Skit", "Look What You Done" and "End Game".
The album is very different and 'out there' so I find it difficult to
comment on only just one listen. The clear standout is the first single
"Mutual" followed by "Don't Roll With Me" but I guess the album, going by the promo video for it, is conceptual
and intended to be listed to as a whole as she describes it as 'the odyssey of a toxic love story played out from start to finish'.
