Zaska feat. Melina Malone [2024] - Ever Cross Your Mind (Live At The Triskel) [Self Released]

Dublin's Melina Malone featured here last year with her debut album "Aphrodite". She's teamed up with leading Irish guitarist, songwriter, producer Max Zaska for a live single "Ever Cross Your Mind". 

It's the first single from a forthcoming EP "Live At The Triskel", which is an arts theatre in Cork, recorded on 15 Sep 2023.

A debut single whom, from songwriter credits, we believe to be Mikayla Whittemore using the artist name Moonchild, so not the L.A. trio that Amber Navran is a member of.

HumOne is a producer from Chile.

Being a debut we are unable to find any information about the artist.

Vespre [2024] - things we want to know [Tisket Tasket]

Vespre is Kaylan Waterman from Detroit who's released a four track EP "things we want to know".

The title track (and our choice cut which reminds us of 'something'?) was released as a single in Apr '22 and "warm guns" in Feb '22. Other than those, she has released just three previous singles since her first, "Lovers", which has a very 80s pop feel, in 2017.

Emi Secrest [2024] - Lucky [Lobel Music Group]

Apart from a Christmas single, Memphis' Emi Secrest has released her first material since "444" in Oct '23 in the form of a new single "Lucky" which we featured in our new releases mix last week (Sat 24 Feb).

Having travelled the world supporting artists such as Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, John Legend and Macy Gray, she made her solo debut in 2014 with "Fearless" and she has now released fourteen solo singles, an EP and a full album since her debut.

We found so many 'candidates' last weekend that, rather than post them individually, owing to time we created a 30 track mix instead. If you haven't listened yet then you have until Sat to listen before it is refreshed with this week's new releases. We may post some of them but probably not all.

BRIT School graduate Jaz Karis from South London collaborates with New Jersey born Tone Stith on her latest single "MET YOU AT A BAR".

She's released several singles since her fourth EP "DEAR JAZ" in Nov '22 and we think this is the best of them.

It's Stith's first release since his "P.O.V" album  last Sep.

The Jack Moves [2024] - Somebody's Watching You (XL Middleton Remix) [ Everloving, Inc.]

Cast your mind back to Spring '22 when The Jack Moves released the lead single "Somebody's Watching You" from their, then forthcoming, album, "Cruiserweight".

A new XL Middleton Remix has been released today. We said at the time that we felt that it was similar in feel to Keni Burke's 1982 classic "Risin' To The Top" in parts.
