Sharna Bass [2021] - Memories Don't Die [EGA Records]

North London singer Sharna Bass' last single "Never Coming Back" was featured here in May  and she released a follow-up barely four weeks later on 17 Jun 2021, which is probably why I missed it. I think the follow-up "Memories Don't Lie" is much better.

YAS & taylor from earth [2021] - Fool Around [Self Released]

YAS is a relatively new artist from L.A. who has released around half a dozen singles since debuting in 2018. This release (on 8 Jul 2021) she classifies as an EP as it contains two tracks, the other being "The Idea Of You" which I don't think is as quite good but I've included the video as it's always good to see the artist perform, 

"Fool Around" features a male singer known as taylor from earth, who I can find nothing about, but he does compliment the song which is very short, only 2:03.  The song has a similar feel to Reuben James' recent song "Closer".

From the writing credits I assume YAS is Yasmeen Al-Mazeedi and taylor from earth is Taylor Fugit.

Angel Face [2021] - Believe [Agape Records]

Angel Face from L.A. is another new artist who released her first single "Infatuated" last month (1 Jun). She released her second single "Believe" yesterday (21 Jul 2021) which has a bit of a 90's groove.

Eva Saturn [2021] - A Saturn Return [Self Released] (Full EP)

A debut five track EP "A Saturn Return" from a new artist named Eva Saturn from Honolulu, Hawaii was released today (22 Jul 2021). 

Her only other release is a single "Fly" released in April which is the first track on the EP, although she was a featured artist on a single by Mr Carmack called "Come Home" in 2018.

The standout track is "Holding U Down" which has a stepper vibe, and I quite like "Corner Of The Moon". In fact there's not a track that I dislike (there's always usual at least one!) as it's a pleasant debut.

Samm Henshaw [2021] - Grow [Dorm Seven]

Only just over two weeks ago I posted "Still Broke (Keyon's Cocktail Mix)" from Samm Henshaw. Today (22 Jul 2021) he released a new single called "Grow", and very nice it is too!

I enjoyed the remix of "Still Broke" but wasn't too keen on the original version, but this new single is superb with 'real soul' elements but also a bit quirky which adds interest.

It's going to be some "Dirty Dozen" on Sunday as I've already pencilled in eight tracks, including this one,  before the onslaught of new releases tomorrow!

Iniabasi Samuel Henshaw is from South London and debuted in 2015.
