Swatkins (Steve Watkins) is from L.A. and has been a member of Allen Stone's
band since 2013. His last three singles have been collaborations with
Scary Pockets on cover versions i.e. "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go", "What A Fool Believes" and "How Deep Is Your Love". Before that in July he released "Lottery" with Raquel Rodriguez.
He releases a debut album "Friends And Other Necessities" today (28 Oct 2022) and on first listen "Letting Go" and "Sweet Talk" stand out along with two previous singles "Lottery" "Lost & Alive" from Feb '22 with Moorea Masa & The Mood of course. Although not credited, Moorea Masa on vocals on "Sweet Talk" as she is a co-writer and Ashley Jayy is the vocalist on "Letting Go" on which she, Swatkins, Jans Ingber and Jarrod Lawson are on writing credits
