Tygressa [2021] - Shake It For You [Self Released]

Tygressa Jones released her debut single "Hey You (A Minute With You)" on 2 Jul which hit the top of the UK Soul charts and followed it up with a four track EP "A Minute With You" two weeks later.

She is back with a brand new single "Shake It For You" which is set for release this Friday (8 Oct 2021). As with her debut the song was self-written and produced by Terry '20' Poindexter. The new song has a similar stepper's feel to her debut.

A Washington D.C. native, she was an Apollo winner and regularly performs her show "Tygressa Sings Natalie ... Remembering Natalie Cole, a tribute"

VA [2021] - Bespeak Empower [Bespeak] (Full Album)

I gave this a skim last week and only really the track by Ronnie Wright with Joyya Marie jumped out at me from the samples but listening again to the full tracks Tiffany Wilson "Be Kind" is very nice and probably the standout track!

The album contains tracks by different artists from the Portland, Oregon area. Michalangela "I Don't Want To Be Alone" could be a grower after a few listens, Jamelia Boney "Echo" is a gospel ballad and the aforementioned Ronnie Wright with Joyya Marie "In Awe" are the only tracks of real interest.

DionRacii [2021] - AmberNovella [Self Released] (Full EP)

DionRacii is from Birmingham, AL, and describes her music as trap jazz. She debuted last December (2020) with a single "Spaz" and followed it with "Half Of Us" in Jan 2021. Her debut six track EP "AmberNovella" was released 24 Sep 2021 which includes "Spaz" but not "Half Of Us".

The two tracks of interest are "Passionwins" and "That Girl". A music video has been produced for "Live Fast" which was uploaded 13 Sep, so I would assume that it is being promoted as the new single?

Brother Brodie [2021] - Surrender [Self Released]

Brother Brodie is a new artist and this new single "Surrender", released on 30 Sep 2021, appears to be his only release. Presumably his real name is Darryl Brodie as that's who wrote the song which is a timeless soul ballad. From his Instagram posts I would guess he's a gospel singer or certainly has a church/gospel background.

N.W.O. & Terri Green Project [2021] - Lost Inside Your Love [Euro Musik]

The latest offering from N.W.O. and Terri Green Project is "Lost Inside Your Love" which escaped on 27 Sep 2021.

This is the second collaboration between Hamburg duo Terri Bjerre and Torsten Abrolat (aka Toddi Reed) with N.W.O. (New World Order) who are veteran musicians Lenny Harris (Saxophone), Wondel Brown (Trombone), and Dr Gilbert Pryor (Trumpet) who have played with the best including, but not limited to, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, Jerry Butler and Barry White.
