The second single from Incognito's forthcoming album "Into The Dark" (due 20 Oct) is "Keep Me In The Dark" featuring the vocal talents of Natalie Duncan.

As you would expect it's a soul/jazz-funk outing with Bluey's timeless signature Incognito's sound, which of course follows the instrumental "Back On The Beach" from August.

Natalie Duncan [2023] - Are You Getting Enough [Fallen Tree1Hundred]

We always look forward to receiving new music from Natalie Duncan (and the Fallen Tree 1Hundred label for that matter) as she/they always delivers. 

Her new offering is "Are You Getting Enough" (which I think we have just answered) along with The Degrees Remix (vocal and instrumental).

The Degrees, of course, are label mates Charlie Bierman and Isha Campbell, who add some contemporary beats to the main mix. 

Natalie last graced these pages with her last single "Silver Gun" in Feb.

Natalie Duncan [2023] - Silver Gun [Fallen Tree 1Hundred #FT1H020]

The new single from London singer-songwriter-pianist, Natalie Duncan, is "Silver Gun" due on 24 Feb '23. It comes bundled with a Lenzman Remix and Lenzman Instrumental remixed by Amsterdam-based Drum & Bass producer, Lenzman (Teije van Vliet) with his trademark soulful touch and classic jungle groove.

Of the song Natalie says: "This song started life as a dark-sounding synth motif with a quick drum loop I made. With drummer Richard Spaven then adding his own signature drum style to the final take, it resulted in an even weirder, cooler, rhythmic sound. Adding Alan Mian’s dirty Synth bass parts and layering the other synths to thicken the sonics, I feel like I’m really living my Radiohead fantasy here! The lyrics are empowering, and I wanted the vocal to be really close-mic’d for an intimate sound…" 

Nottingham-raised, London-based, Natalie Duncan first came to the attention of those in the know in 2009, aged 18, with the release of her debut EP "Natalie Alexis Duncan". However, it was her involvement in the BBC TV three part series "Goldie's Band By Royal Appointment" in 2011, the brainchild of drum and bass pioneer Goldie, that she came to wider attention. She was signed to Decca Records and produced her first, critically acclaimed, album "Devil in Me", in 2012 and later that year appeared on BBC TV show "Later with Jools Holland" which led to her touring as support for the band Muse.

Duncan's second album "Free" in the summer of 2020 (the album and live performance were posted in Dec 2021) launched Goldie’s Fallen Tree 1Hundred label. In turn Natalie launched the album with a live, intimate recording at Ronnie Scott's and followed that up with a seminal show at London's Jazz Café.

Natalie Duncan [2022] - Let Go Release [Fallen Tree 1Hundred]

A new single "Let Go Release" from the talented and consistent Natalie Duncan is out today. It comes with labelmates Searchlight Remix which is a mellower take on the song. Searchlight are Cian McCann and Dom Purcell.

Natalie Duncan is from Croydon but grew up in Nottingham. She released a debut self-titled EP in 2009 and her first album "Devil In Me" in 2012. Her next album "Free" was the first release on Goldie's Fallen Tree 1Hundred in Jul 2020 from which three singles were pre-released ("Sirens", "Kansas" and "Pools").
