Minnie Riperton's iconic song "Lovin' You", written with her husband Dick Rudolph, and her only UK hit which reached #2 on UK pop chart in April 1975 (and was a #1 Hot 100 hit in the US) is the subject of this new cover by B. Valentine. It comes with two versions, the E.V. Mix includes the sax of Dave Koz, otherwise they are the same.
The only other release listed for B. Valentine is "Masquerade" in Jul 2022, however, she has been supporting and performed with other artist for years including Jeffrey Osborne, Maysa, Kenny Lattimore, Valerie Simpson, Deniece Williams, Freddie Jackson, Heather Headley, and Chrisette Michelle; gospel artists including BeBe Winans and Dottie Peoples; Jazz Artists including Dave Koz, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler & Peter White and has featured with groups such as Groove Junkies and The Rebirth.
Since 2016 she has been going it alone and was previously known as Baskerville Jones and released an EP "Mile 1" in 2016 which included "Masquerade".
