For the obvious reasons, Ravyn Lenae's voice immediately reminded me of Minnie Riperton. She released a new
single "Skin Tight" today (1 Feb 2022). It is her first release for some time, since Sep
2020 to be exact with "Today".
Ravyn Lenae Washington is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from Chicago
who debuted with an independent EP "Moon Shoes" in 2015 (aged just 16) which was reissued by Atlantic Records the
following year when she was signed to the label.
The slightly 'disappointing' aspect about this release is that you would
think that a major label could come up with something a little better than
an animated video, or is it just me?
