We were first introduced to Gabriels back in January 2021 with their
stomping "Love And Hate In A Different Time" from an EP of the same name released 4 Dec 2020. That track distinctly
reminded me of elements of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine". It has been
re-released and remixed multiple times since (many of them posted
HERE).
They have a new seven track EP/album "Angels & Queens - Part I" due at the end of the month (30 Sep 2022). Apart from one track "Blind"
(which is on the EP mentioned above) it consists of all new material. The title track from it has been pre-released as a single yesterday (7 Sep
2022).
Gabriels have their own distinctive and unique, gospel inspired, style and consist of lead singer Jacob Lusk (who appeared on American Idol season 10 in 2011) and producers Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope. Formed in L.A. in 2016, they released their debut single 'Loyalty' in 2018 which was used in a Prada advert.
