Carrington Peterson is from Las Vegas whose musical journey
began when she was 8. Her first recording was a self released, four track,
EP "Mood Swings" in Jun 2019. Since then she has released just three singles including
her latest "Botica" which is picking up traction gaining loads of airplay in the UK.
She tells us that the song is about a date she went on in Atlanta. Being
curious, we looked up the word botica and it is either slang for a
storehouse/general store (derived from boutique) or in Spanish it translates
to a pharmacy, so we don't know what sort of a date that was? However, it's actually the name of a Mexican restaurant in Atlanta.
Also being curious, we checked out all her material, which equates to
seven songs, and all of them are pretty good, especially her single
earlier this year "Groove" (28 Apr) so we've also include it below as it is well worth airplay.
