Rory Farrell is a former Sony music exec and popular
podcaster (on The Joe Budden Podcast) who has turned producer for a
debut project "I Thought It’d Be Different". He recruits the services of well know artists who we have featured
in recent times such as Ari Lennox, Alex Isley, Kirby, They, DRAM,
Emotional Oranges, BeMyFiasco, Sinead Hartnett, Pink Sweat$, dvsn,
Phonte and many others, we counted 23 different guest artists are
featured.
Five of the tracks have been previously released as singles since Jul
'22 with the latest "My Phone Can Die" feat Ari Lennox and James Fauntleroy being released a week before the
album.
The album is hard to categorise but we would say that it's mainly
R&B/hip-hop oriented with a few neo soul tunes. with "Refill" (feat. Aáyanna and Chiiild) and "My Phone Can Die" being our picks from it.
