Zaidi Kiggundu (Ziggy Funk) and Jamie McShane met at a music festival
in 2016 and began a collaboration naming themselves Zaimie.
They have a debut album "Fortuitous" scheduled for release on 14 Jul '23 and released their first
single from it, "Hidden Heights", on 16 Jun '23 which harps back the the Brit/Jazz Funk days.
A second track "Smash 'n' Grab" has been released on Bandcamp (only) ahead
of the album release in two weeks.
The album promises to be a fusion of funk, jazz and soul with a
contemporary touch.
