My selection of the best releases this week (Nov 2021 Wk 45)
In no particular order other than tempo.
I've extended this weeks dozen to a dozen and a half as, although there
was virtually nothing of significance released early this week, we had a
bit of a bonanza with Friday's batch. Again around half of the playlist
are album or EP tracks.
The long anticipated and hyped album "An Evening With Silk Sonic" from the Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak collaboration,
Silk Sonic, was finally released and thankfully didn't disappoint with three of
the five new tracks all being chosen by different DJ's as their picks. My
own is included in the playlist.
Another great album, a debut titled "Decency" from from J'Cenae, I tipped at the time of posting was likely to be Soul Strutter
Selection of the Week and nothing else has materialised to change my
mind since. One of those rare albums that you can just let play all the way through without the urge to skip to the next track.
