There are eleven new entries (four bubbling under from last week), the highest being last week's SoulStrutter Selection of the Week Joanna Cooke who enters at #10. Charlie Wilson has hung for another week only just holding off Carlos Budd Ford who has had a considerable number of views for some reason. However, Charlie will be gone next week as will eight others who will have expired their 30 days.

There are eleven new entries, the highest being from Carlos Budd Ford who has had a huge number of views in only 3 days and has entered at #4. Charlie Wilson is streets ahead in the top spot and may just hang on for one more week. Mamas Gun has entered at #14 with their new single released only on Friday and will be boosted by the release of their forthcoming album on 1 Apr which has already been posted from promo.

The SoulStrutter Top 30 of the most viewed posts in the last 30 days (i.e. blog readers choices).

There are eight new entries, the highest being from Blue Lab Beats collaboration with DedachiKenta which seems to have come from nowhere. As anticipated Charlie Wilson leapfrogs Sound Of Superbad into the top spot with significantly more views in the last week in particular.

The surprising high new entry is Aaliyah Zhané with her EP "The Good & The Bad" which was only posted yesterday.

I don't think there will be a lot of movement next week looking at durations but we will definitely loose seven: Melba & Carmichael, Silk Sonic, Mary J. Blige, LaToya & Anthony Hamilton, Jennifer Holliday, Duceplay and Cocoa St. James.

The SoulStrutter Top 30 of the most viewed posts in the last 30 days (i.e. blog readers choices).

There are ten new entries with three entering in the top ten, all of which have seemed to come out of nowhere. Charlie Wilson's new collaborative (and derivative) single has had a ridiculous number of views in only a week and looks like he could give Sounds Of Superbad a run for their money for the top spot if momentum continues. Jade Vanessa and Otis Kane are also both surprise high entries. One that isn't a surprise though is Krishawna's excellent new album which enters at #16 after only five days. 

Last week's SoulStrutter Selection of the Week, Rae "Fool", just squeezes in at #30. Full disclosure as she has the same number of views as Kubla but has had fewer days to accumulate them (as Kubla was posted on 17 Feb and Rae 22 Feb) therefore she takes the #30 spot. Nice to see Daniel Leon enter but sadly it will only be for one week as his 30 days since posting will have expired by next week along with at least four others.

SoulStrutter Top 30 - 27th Feb 2022 (Week 08)

The SoulStrutter Top 30 of the most viewed posts in the last 30 days (i.e. blog readers choices).

It's been a crazy week on the blog with the highest number of visitors on three consecutive days with over 3k on two days and over 4k on another and perhaps the chart this week reflects that as four of the top ten have only been posted seven days or less and there are certainly a few surprises, not least the EP from Don-E at #2 which is all previously released material (which I guess 'technically' shouldn't be in the chart as reissues and compilations are excluded i.e. generally only new material is considered).

There are eleven new entries with six of them all entering in the top ten. I'm pleased that last weeks SoulStrutter Selection of the Week (LaToya London & Anthony Hamilton) has entered the chart, but at the same time a little disappointed that it hasn't gone in much higher.

Last week's #1 Devon Howard has been replaced by Sound of Superbad which, whilst only officially released this Friday, was boosted by the pre-release on Bandcamp the previous Friday. Similarly with SouLutions, officially released on Friday but had been posted previously from promo. The top ten entry from Moneá EP "777" is another surprise high entry.

Nine new entries and no change at the top. A lot of interest in Ivy Lo even though her EP "A Love Ride" has been withdrawn but the release of a single from it "Soul Tied" attracted new views.

Not surprisingly, Silk Sonic and Melba Moore Feat. Carmichael Musiclover enter high along with Jennifer Holliday and Mary J. Blige. I am surprised that Moonchild album didn't make the cut (it's seven places outside) and the new LaToya London with Anthony Hamilton just missed the top 30 by one place so should appear next week.
