Raja-Nee' Feat. ThaSaint & Wilfred Frelix [2022] - Come Get This Love / Come Get This Love (ThePackxsz Flute Mix) [LRK Records #13]

It is a great privilege posting this vinyl 7" as SoulStrutter was instrumental in introducing Liam Kenney at LRK to Raja-Nee' (Renee Knott-Freeman) last year with the view to having her UK soul chart #1 hit "Come Get This Love" released on vinyl. 

It has been many months in the making, with Covid and heavy vinyl pressing plant demand, but it is set for release on 31 May 2022. It's still a while to wait yet but it is now available to pre-order from LRK Bandcamp store.

It's a little diversion from material typically released by LRK and  includes a new mix on the flip side "ThePackxsz Flute Mix". The song was originally released on ThaSaint's (John 'ThaSaint' Morris) "This Is Us" album in Sep 2020 but sounds like a different mix (included below) to the single released on 22 Mar 2021. It was also released on 2 Jul 2021 with a  Samuel Archer Remix. 

Raj Nee has also been working on a new album "The Sovereign of 14742" which can't be too far off as Roger Williams has done the artwork for it, and I believe she has a new single almost ready to go.

Raja-Nee was discovered by Ch-Lites' founder Marshall Thompson who she toured and recorded with. She later auditioned for Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis which led to a solo album "Hot & Ready" in 1994 on their Perspective label resulting in a hit track 'Turn It Up' which also featured on 'A Low Down Dirty Shame' movie soundtrack.
