A couple of weeks ago on 29 Jan a five track debut EP "A Love Ride" was self-released by Ivy Lo which caused quite a stir as it was excellent. Within about a week
it was withdrawn. Apparently she signed to a record label (Estabrookroad)
who withdrew it and are now re-promoting it. I thought, incorrectly as it
turns out, that the full EP would be reissued today, but it seems that
only one of the tracks "Soul Tied" has been released as a single and "Sip N' Dip" is scheduled for 4
Mar.
Ivy Lo is the stage name of 19 year old Skylar Corrin Parhms from
Monroe, LA, who began her singing career in 2020 with Southern
University A&M College, Baton Rouge, jazz band. She wrote all tracks on her EP.
