Candace Woodson releases a new single today (25 Feb 2022),"(Trying To Be) Perfect" which is diversion from her recent upbeat dance material with a classy, soulful jazz ballad
discovered by Gary Van Den Bussche. It was written and recorded by
Valerie Simpson on her 2012 album "Dinosaurs Are Coming Back Again".
Candace also recorded a song called "Perfect" on her 2019 album "Desire" but it's a different song. The new song was produced by Nigel Lowis and has been given Valerie
Simpson's blessing, saying "The Message is timely and you have the vocal
power to get it over" and it surely does exhibit Candace's vocal prowess.

Really? Well in actual FACT no auto-tune was used. Her voice is double-tracked in places with some delay used. .. and that is from the 'horses mouth'!
