Robert Glasper released his new album "Black Radio III" today (25 Feb 2022) which features a host of 'heavy weight'
soul artists including Jennifer Hudson, Ledisi. India.Arie, PJ
Morton, Gregory Porter, Lalah Hathaway, Meshell
Ndegeocello, Musiq Soulchild and several others.
The standout, for me on very quick first listen (as I don't have time to fully digest on 'Frantic Friday's' with so many releases), is "Out Of My Hands" featuring Jennifer Hudson.
The album also includes his two recent singles "Shine" and "Black Superhero" and a cover of Tears For Fears 80s hit "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" featuring Lalah Hathaway and Common. Coincidentally, not that it probably concerns anyone visiting here, Tears For Fears also have a new album out this week called "The Tipping Point" which is their first studio album since 2006.
