The long awaited debut album from South Londoner
Samm Henshaw (Iniabasi Samuel Henshaw), who debuted in 2015, is "Untidy Soul" released today (28 Jan 2022).
The clear standout is the superb "Grow" which was in my Top 25 selections of last year. It's also good to
see "Still Broke" with Kenyon Harold but I prefer the
Kenyon's Cocktail Mix.
I think the album will need a few listens to fully digest but a few other
standouts on first hearing are "Loved By Love", "It Won't Change" featuring Maverick Sable and "8.16".
He performed "Grow" on 'The Late Late show with James Corden' which premiered today to launch
the album.
