L.A.'s "Sultry Songstress" Sydney Raneé released her
latest single "Wake Up & Get It" on 21 Jan 2022 . It follows her recent singles "One Night Only" (Aug 2021) and "Complicated" .
Despite a couple of other sites making claims such as 'world premiere' and 'world exclusive' for the new single from Sydney Renee, it was in fact posted here before both of them on 18 Jan 2022, but we make no such 'bold' claims! However, being as the others are 'at it' we will cautiously claim like Carlsberg, that we are 'probably' also the first to feature her new video to support the single which was premiered less than an hour ago.
The latest single, like her others, was self-written and produced and
is the second single from a forthcoming EP due later this year.
Sydney is certainly becoming noticed as she has shared her music via
digital and live performances for Jam in the Van, Songbird Sessions,
Melrose Trading Post, Acoustic Sessions LA, and SoFar Sounds and has
also featured in 911: Lone-star; Dynasty and MTV’s The Real World as
well as being invited as a featured performer on the 2020 Daytime
Emmys.
"Wake Up and Get It" is a song about overcoming depression and living each day to the
fullest which is appropriate for this week as 'theoretically the third
Monday in January has become known as 'Blue Monday'. Syndey states that
it contains elements of TLC with a kick of Mary J. Blige.
