Sofia Gillani is a singer/songwriter from London who began
her musical career aged 9 starring as a lead in the musical "Evita".
She has released three singles to date since Dec 2020. Her fourth "Water Run Dry" is due for release on 25 Mar 2022 and is available to pre-order via
iTunes. A video will be released on the day of release and a trailer for
it has also been posted below.
She tells us that "The song 'Water Run Dry’ is about persevering and trying to come to a
consensus even when it feels like the odds are against you, like the
‘water has run dry’. In 2022, it's important to have this mindset with the
struggles we’ve been through. Water Run Dry’ is a bold song
encouraging motivation, lifting people higher when they feel like
they are stuck, and helping them realise that ‘love’ and ‘hope’ and ‘pain’ are emotions we will inevitably feel,
but even when it gets tough and the problems multiply, can we, as
humanity, not let the ‘water run dry’".
