The Global Soul Chart - 03 Jul 2021

Six new new entries this week, all of which have already been posted.

Conya Doss, who entered at #2 three weeks ago, only spends a solitary week on the top spot, replaced by last week's highest new entry at #9 Kadeem Tyrell & Omar. My tip (Tessie) from a few weeks ago, which entered last week, only managed to stay for one week. Isabel Eberdean's new four track EP has given her a boost as one of the week's equal highest risers along with Kadeem & Omar and Tomeka Williams.

My tips for next week's chart are for Rasida "Don't Go Back", Estee Pierce "Celebrate You" and Raja-Nee' "Come Get This Love (Samuel Archer Remix"). An outsider, which I rate highly, is also Tygressa "Hey You (A Minute With You)" which will also get a boost when she releases the full EP on 16 Jul, not forgetting the great new single from Rasida. I don't think anything I've heard lately that is likely to shift Kadeem & Omar off the top spot in the short term.
