Another Global Soul breaker which starts off with so much potential but
acquiesces to the requisite rap which may appeal to
the 'kids' but is a turn-off for soul aficionados. A three and a half
minute track spoilt by a 30 second rap at 1:30! Call me old fashioned, a traditionalist or a purist, but to me, rap has no place in real soul music. It adds nothing to the song in my view, in fact to the contrary in this instance, it interrupts the flow as you are settling into an otherwise good groove.
