Now this is what I'm talking about ... real soul music! I was quite surprised to find a video for this song which was only posted earlier today.
Keni Myles is from Indianapolis, IN, now living in Atlanta, GA. On his Twitter account the strapline reads songwriter of the Rude Boys who were a 90s R&B group from Cleveland who had two R&B #1 hits on Atlantic. He has sung backing vocals, and toured, with artists such as Angie Stone, LeVert, Christina Aguilera, Ali Woodson, The S.O.S Band, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Glen Jones and Keith Washington.
He released a debut album in 2008 called "My Rhythm & Blues" (which has a few nice tracks on it, follow link to listen) and has released a few singles since. On his YT channel he has several live videos performing covers, so I would guess that he's a regular gigging performer.
