Yesterday (19 Jun 2021) Stephanie Mills released her first new music for several years ("Afraid To
Love" 2015). It's a song she co-wrote with Marcus Malone which she states
is "a reflection of the sadness and heartache I’ve been feeling over
the pandemic, George Floyd, and the systemic racism that plagues our
people. “Let's Do the Right Thing'' is my personal plea for all people to
rise up and come together". Musically it's classic soul reminiscent of her 80s tunes.
