With all the 'discussion' on UK Soul Charts this week (on facebook) in which aspersions were cast on their accuracy and how much they were distorted by two of the major UK 'record pluggers', I thought it would be 'interesting' to list each week
the top 10 most viewed posts in the last 7 days & 30 days.
The 7 day list features automatically at the bottom of each page and changes on a rolling 7 day
basis based on the number of views each post has received. As it is purely based on the number of times a post has been viewed, it cannot be manipulated (by me at least) but of course someone, disposed to do so, could view a post multiple times if they so desired!
I will capture them on the same day each week, probably a Sunday, and
each week aggregate them up, as the chart moves. They will be
assigned points for position and no. of weeks in top 10 and possibly the length of time posted. It will take a few weeks to bed in
but after a couple of weeks should stabilise and give a more accurate
indication.
NB The chart has already changed from this snapshot taken last night!
