We first came across Seattle, WA, born, Nashville, TN, based, singer/songwriter Natasha Blaine with her last, but one, single "Old Habits" a year ago in Mar '23.
Since then she's released another single "Coincidences" in Jun '23, and today her latest "Neptune". Below is a live performance recorded last month as her submission for the NPR Tiny Desk competition. It's a hard one to pigeon hole, spanning pop, jazz and neo soul.
Blaine moved to Nashville, TN, in 2018 to study literature and vocal jazz, graduating in 2021 and became heavily involved in the famous Nashville
writers' round circuit, writing songs between classes and gigging at
night.
She released her debut EP, "I Fall in Love Too Easily" in Jun '21 and "Neptune" is now her ninth single to date.
