This song "I Won't Hide" appears to be a debut single by
Jèrica Sousa da Luz Páscoa, shortened to Jèryh Luz, who is from Rotterdam in the Netherlands but originally from Portugal or of Portuguese decent. She is currently working on a
debut EP which we are told will contain jazz, neo soul, Latin and even a bit
of Afro.
The single is a self-written jazzy neo soul piece which we think is rather
good. On the video for the song (which unfortunately is audio only) she
explains 'I took the sun as an inspiration to write this song and spread a
message. It’s about healing the world we live in by reflecting on
ourselves and choosing self-love. Sunlight is inevitable, as well as the
positive energy it brings to human kind. Let this song be a constant
reminder to keep shining your light!'
Whilst digging around for information on the artist we came across a live
video performance of the song with Noam from Sep 2021, which is a more acoustic take on the song, along with another song " Nos Amor".
