The latest offering from Avery*Sunshine from her
forthcoming album, "So Glad To Know", is "Fire".
It's now her third single of the year following "I Wonder" (12 Feb) and the funky "Lifted Up" (1 Jan) all different in style.
The song was co-written with her daughter, Drew 'TheRew' Menifee along
with Dana Johnson, Jamison Ross, Cory Irvin Sr. and John Michael
Rouchell. It delves into the trials of sustaining a relationship without
reciprocation, self-neglect in the pursuit of pleasing others. The title
'Fire' referring to one refusing to 'set themselves on fire just to keep
someone else warm'.
The visual is set to premiere at 16:00 GMT (29 Mar '24).
