A set of four remixes of two tracks from Bristol based producer/multi-instrumentalist Slowe's (Sophie Hawes) debut album "Where The Mind Wanders" (Jul '23).
The set consists of vocal and instrumental mixes of "WYLTK" (a single Nov' 22) and "Fix Me Up" (a single Mar '23).
Pioneers of the UK hip-hop scene, The Sindecut & Ijeoma, recreate "WYLTK" by infusing it with infectious, boom bap beats. Slowe's vocal is paired with new harmonies from Ijeoma whilst Ernie Mckone and Matt Chandler add bass and electric guitar into the mix,
Fellow Bristol-based producer and songwriter Dutchie (Elizabeth Holland) gives a bass-driven revamp to "Fix Me Up" feat. Rachai (Rachel Bowen). She produces a club-ready refresh and takes the tempo up a notch, transforming the track with her upbeat, dubbed out breaks approach whilst retaining Rachai's vocals. Duchie released her interpretation of Erykah Badu's "On And On" in July.
