In June we came across a debut single, "Joyride", from Raahz (Rosalyn
Jackson) from Charlotte, NC (which we chose as our SoulStrutter Selection of the Week). We suspected that it was based on a library backing, and have since come across it on a few more recordings. One only two weeks ago by Anne. "No Mistake." and prior to that King Creole "Kiss & Tell", we're sure there will be others.
On Friday Raahz released a seven track EP/album, "Voyage", which includes "Joyride". In addition, our choice cuts are "July Showers", "Honey" and "Chasing Love".
