The first single since "Cheated" (Mar '22) from Truth Hurts is "RnB Love" from an upcoming EP "#revelations" due on 10 Oct.
Truth Hurts is the artist name for Shari Watson who debuted in 2002 with an album "Truthfully Speaking" under the wing of Dr. Dre on his Aftermath label. Her debut single "Addictive" featured Rakim and topped the charts in 14 countries in 2002 and gained 2 Grammy nominations.
She's toured with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and Outkast and appeared in the movie "Ali" as a singer as well as around another dozen movies, the TV sitcom "The Parkers" and also featured as one of The Raelettes in the musical revue "I Can’t Stop Loving You: Genius of Ray Charles".
Her sophomore album "Ready Now" was released on Raphael Saadiq's Pookie International label in 2004 followed by "Truth International" in 2006.
