I think we may have just found the killer tune of the week. Some songs
just hit you immediately and this one has for us. The best of all worlds,
an obvious 60s/70s sweet soul sample with a contemporary sound layered on
top. We love it.
"Joyrise" appears to be a debut release for Raahz on which writers
credits are given to a Rosalyn Jackson (Raahz?).
With a bit of a deep dive we discovered that she is from Charlotte, NC,
and has some involvement in a lifestyle product called Araysun (the label
name).
