The first new album from Brit and Grammy award winning Joss Stone in five years "Never Forget My Love" was released today (11 Feb 2022).
All songs were co-written with Dave Stewart of Euhythmics fame (who also
produced the album) and recorded at Blackbird Studios, Nashville
and released on Stewart's new label Bay Street Records.
Two songs have already been released as singles, the title track "Never Forget My Love" on 12 Nov 2021 and "Breaking Each Other's Heart's" on Chrismas Eve 2021.
A video has been posted for "Oh To Be Loved By You" so presumably that is the next single.
The album has a classic/retro soul feel some with a touch of southern soul
e.g. "You're My Girl". Notwithstanding the singles, I think my personal favourite track is "When You're In Love" on first listen.
As an aside I've only this week finished watching the TV series The Tudors on BBC iPlayer and 'thought' that the actress playing Ann of Cleves looked very like Joss Stone only to discover that it actually was her, I never knew!
