Although four tracks have already been released as singles ("Too Good" (29 Oct), "You Got One" featuring Alex Isley (30 Nov) , "Tell Him" featuring Lalah Hathaway (6 Jan) and "Love I Need" (1 Feb)), there are another ten new tracks on "Starfruit" the new album from Moonchild released today (11 Feb
2022).
Moonchild is an L.A.-based trio of Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max
Bryk who debuted in 2012 with their first of now six albums "Be Free".
"Starfruit" features guest appearances from Lalah Hathaway, Alex Isley,
Tank and The Bangas, Rapsody, Ill Camille, Mumu Fresh, Chantae Cann and
Josh Johnson and is their fifth album for Brighton-based label Tru
Thoughts.
It's an excellent album with "Takes Two", "I'll Be There" and "Don't Hurry Home" being the three new tracks which stood out on first listen but there
really isn't a bad track.
