You may recall the name Ivy Lo who released a debut EP "A Love Ride" in Jan '22 which was doing rather well and then withdrawn. It would
appear that she was signed to a label who decided to withdraw the EP and
later re-release it under their umbrella.
The label drip fed a couple of singles from it before reissuing the EP in
full on
1 Apr. The sad thing is that the EP was collecting momentum when it was
withdrawn and was then largely ignored when it was re-issued.
Ivy Lo is 20 year old Skylar Corrin Parhms from Monroe,
LA, who began her singing career in 2020 with Southern University A&M
College, Baton Rouge, jazz band.
She is back today with her second EP "Keep It Off My Mind" which contains one of her two singles since her last EP ("Call You" (24 Mar) and "No Saint" (Oct '22)). Our choice/recommended cut is "Run Away".
