Born in Namibia to a Mozambiquan mother and Swedish father,
Aida Lae (pronounced eyda-lay) moved to Southern Sweden aged 5 and as soon as she was
old enough moved to Stockholm where she connected with several
producers. The move made her curious to explore new cities so she
spent time in London.
During this period she says she lost a sense of who she was and the
music the she was making so in 2022 took a break from the music.
She returned in 2023 with a refreshing feeling to express her inner
feelings and not pretend to be someone she’s not.
She has released her third single this year "Flexin" following "Trust
Issues" (Apr '23) an Alright" (Feb '23). The new single is R&B
with, the current trend of introducing, afro-beats. Not really our cup
of tea but many seem to like it!
