The Global Soul chart broadcast on Sat 19th Mar as it is every Saturday
between 5pm-7pm (GMT) on Global Soul Radio.
No "Essential 5" this week but the 'Breakers' will be posted separately.
Ego Ella May takes over the top spot from Mary J. Blige after two weeks at the top for MJB and only the second week on the chart for Ego Ella May boosted by the release of her new EP on 8 March. The second and third spots rooted to Krishawna and Royalty Duo respectively. There are four new entries with the highest being Jermaine Hardsoul. The highest climber is Otis Kane up twelve places and biggest faller is Moonchild dropping ten places.
After predicting the loss of Robert Glasper and Nanette Maxine last week both have actually gone up the chart! It's harder to call this week but I would guess Centric and Moonchild are probably definites to go. I'm not personally a big fan of the lowest three new entries so it remains to be seen if they stay or go!
